There was a record number of participants for the 14th edition of the PMI Day 2023, an event organized by Confindustria throughout Italy during the National Business Culture Week.
Promoted in our area by Confindustria Canavese, the program involved 52 companies and a total of almost 1,500 students and over 150 teachers. Among the candidate companies was Osai Automation System S.p.A. Società Benefit, which hosted an eighth-grade class from the Sandro Pertini Secondary School in Banchette (TO) on the 21st of November 2023.
The students were welcomed to the Antica Cartiera by Gianluca Signorini – c, together with Simona Peruzzo Cornetto – HR, and Simone Bonnot – Mechanical Technician.
The focus of the 2023 edition was ‘freedom’, a prerequisite for realizing one’s aspirations by contributing to generating collective well-being, as a lever for research, innovation and economic growth. The students were able to experience a journey into the future in our company, functional to their next choice of Secondary School address.
For years Osai has been supporting the PMI Day project alongside teachers and school managers, to make its own contribution and be close to students and their families in orientation activities. As Seneca wrote, ‘there is a mutual benefit, because men, while teaching, learn’.
