Electronic Central Unit Assembling and Testing Line
Fully automatic assembling and testing line Electronic Central Unit – ECU for Battery Management System – BMS designed for full electric car passenger.
The line can manage 3 product families of ECU (5 to 12 pins) without any manual set up. A guide robot on the line recognizes the housings supplied by the blister packs using the integrated vision system and automatically loads them onto the pallet. To reduce the time to market, the electronic board is depanalled just in sequence directly by NeoRouter Modula, which is integrated in the line to obtains a PCBA.
Electronic Central Unit Assembling and Testing Line has several assembly and testing stations. The line integrates Neo Hot Air riveting process. Osai has developed this tightening process with independent control of all process parameters of mushroom heads: preheating temperature, preheating time and air pressure (bar). After all these operations, a further check is carried out for the positions and dimensions of components.
Through the PLC control, the machine automatically adjusts for the production change, setting the station and operating independently up to the 12 pins, moving in X, Y, and Z.
The top cover is feed by blister and load by robot with guiderobot camera and clipped on the lower housing.
The clipping station performs a check of the applied pressure to make sure that the top housing is clipped correctly and with the right force to be able to ensure the stability and integrity of the component.
The last station in the line deals with labeling and unloading of components. The traceability of the process is ensured by a management software that records every stage of the process, providing detailed data for analysis and continuous system improvement. Osai provides to manage final testing systems or complements the testing tool provided in this case, directly by the customer.
