ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
The ESG rating is a tool to measure sustainability performance.
It provides an independent and internationally recognised assessment of a company’s commitment to sustainability. A good ESG rating provides investors, customers and employees with a quick and standardised way of assessing a company’s environmental, social and governance performance.
To obtain an ESG rating, the company underwent an assessment by Ecovadis, an international leader in corporate social responsibility (CSR) assessment.
The Ecovadis ESG rating uses a methodology that assesses companies on the basis of 21 ESG criteria divided into four main categories: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Sourcing.
The overall score ranges from 0 to 100 and is translated into medals: Platinum (above 81), Gold, Silver and Bronze.
As proof of its commitment to sustainability, Osai was awarded the Ecovadis Silver Medal in 2024, placing it in the top 15% of companies evaluated.
